Book Match Monday: Oh No, George! by Chris Haughton and Bad Cat! by Nicola O'Byrne

We're jumping in on the #Bookstagram challenge created by James of Mr Payne Reads on Instagram again this week. This time, we're pairing Oh No, George! by Chris Haughton (Walker) with Bad Cat! by Nicola O'Byrne (Nosy Crow).

These picture books feature hilarious animals whose behaviour is often less than desirable (and they're both orange!). While poor George struggles with his conscience, Fluffykins the cat just doesn't care. In both, the readers can guess what's about to happen next and shout, "Oh NO, George!" or "Bad Cat!" along with the narrator as the story progresses. This gives each book an interactive, pantomime-like quality and makes them enormous fun to read aloud.
