Hello! I'm Ciara, a freelance copywriter, editor and publicist. Once upon a time, I was a bookseller, for almost a decade, but that's over ten years ago now. I began blogging about my favourite picture books during lockdown in 2020 and realised how much I missed the literary world.
If you're wondering why all the reviews are positive, it's because I only write about the books I like. I'm often asked why this blog is called Picture Book Snob. This is because I'm not only selective about the stories we read, but I also consider picture books superior to every other form of art!

Submissions
I'm afraid I'm not currently accepting submissions. This is because I only review books as a hobby and don't have a lot of time to blog. As I'm a compulsive book-buyer and there are some lovely publishers who let me request new titles from them, I already have more books than I can manage.
If your book is self-published, I do give a shout-out to independent books and authors in my Instagram stories on Saturdays (just comment on this post to be included).
